A Client of Modis is looking for a Windows Deployment Engineer.
Windows 10 Engineering Requirements
• At least 3 years’ experience in End User computing
• Minimum 2 years Windows 10 migration experience
• Working knowledge of SCCM (Deployments/reporting OS deployments)
• Working knowledge of Active Directory
• Working knowledge of the Windows 10 application interface components (.NET Framework)
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proven experience deploying Windows 10
• Proven experience troubleshooting Window 10 post deployment issues
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexible approach to meet business needs
• Ability to work under pressure
• Attention to detail is essential
Duties and Responsibilities
• Undertake device builds (Windows 10) using pre-defined processes to ensure devices are available in line with the deployment schedule
• Deploy devices to end users as part of a large scale high profile program
• Provides post deployment end user support throughout the roll-out period
• Work with and solving issues on Windows 10 and Microsoft Office suite
• Engage users on a predefined daily walk list to highlight and resolve issues
• Assist users with familiarization on the new technology platform
• Work with users at different US corporate sites
• Work first or second shift
