A Wire Production Assembler job in Austin, TX is available courtesy of Modis. You will be assembling products using a variety of wires and cables, and be working in a warehouse environment. You need to be able to read and understand technical drawings, work orders, and procedures. Attention to detail is critical and you will need to be able to self-audit your work. You will be expected to follow all safety regulations that are set in place. Prior production experience is required.
The Wire Production Assembler job responsibilities include:
• Strip, Crimp, and Apply labels to wires.
• Clean, prepare, and stage job materials for production.
• May perform simple screening, bagging, boxing or cutting operations.
• Inspect/test work for quality, resolve simple problems, and recognize errors.
• Inspect final product to ensure all specifications are met.
• Ensure the acceptable housekeeping practices are followed
Candidates must meet the following qualifications to be considered:
• Ability to read diagram layouts and follow instructions.
• Wire Stripping and Crimping experience.
• Able to precisely measure.
• Experience with hand tools and testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability troubleshoot and ask questions when needed.
• Able to deliver quality work in a timely manner.
• DESIRE to learn new skills and grow experience.
• Good attitude and able to take initiative
