We are currently assisting our client in their search to hire a Special Collects Operator (m/w) who would be supporting the outdoor project in Zürich.

The Operational team organizes the panoramic imagery captures in both private and public, and both indoors and outdoors locations. Within the project, our client aims to collect outdoor and indoor images of important major business hubs, marketplaces and various venues of great interests.

As an Operator, you will be provided with a special photographic equipment and responsible to collect imagery in different locations as planned through operations to ensure collects go as smoothly as possible and as per the plan.

This will be a short assignment mission till 30 November 2022.

Your tasks will include:

  • Interact closely with partners in the operation team.
  • Collect outdoor and indoor images of important major business hubs or marketplaces using proprietary software and internal tools. You will be provided with a special photographic equipment (23kg trekker)
  • Support in moderating captured imagery as per guidelines provided by client
  • Partnering with Operation team using computer application for data capture and extraction
  • Organizing and shipping materials
  • Securing, maintaining, parking and storing equipment
  • Complete daily reports and document procedures
  • Maintenance of SUV/Van and other company vehicle

Your skills and experience:

  • BA or BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Previous field data collection experience is a plus
  • Physically fit and able to operate with 23kg backpack / trekker for 8 hours a day or as instructed
  • Financially callable of incurring travel related expenses prior to being reimbursed. Willingness to travel.
  • Driving license is a must requirement
  • Good IT skills required. Professional understanding of how to use Google sheets and Smartphone at work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and solution-oriented attitude
  • Willingness to work 8 hours a day outdoor, five days a week
  • Strong interest in GPS Localization and Photography would be a plus
