You are familiar with complex systems ? You also have a solid automotive background?

Perfect, we are then looking for you as a highly qualified System Requirements Engineer (m/f/d) for one of our customers, a reknown automotive equipments supplier. This position arises within the framework of a work contract for the greater Frankfurt am Main area and the project is to start as soon as possible.

Your main activities

  • Development of computing platform functions(e.g Power Supply Handling, Diagnostics,…etc) in close collaboration with HW and SW development teams.
  • Creation of functional, logical and physical system architecture in IBM Rhapsody
  • Deriving L2 design requirements from system requirements and architecture
  • Coordination of system requirements and design requirements with software, hardware and test
  • Ensure traceability and completeliness of stakeholder requirements over the product design across all system levels.
  • Revision of system requirements regarding reusability via parameterization and generalization
  • Derivation of L2 system requirements from stakeholder requirements/standards (e.g. ISO 23150) including customer requirements
  • Requirements management, traceability assessment, fulfillment negotiation & reporting, implementation and linkage/analysis of statistics
  • Perform the Technical Risk Analysis (System-FMEA, DRBFM, FTA und DFA).
  • Create Production Test specification and support conceptional design of serial production line and launch

Your profile

  • Competency in Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML with IBM Rhapsody)
  • Knowledge of general systems engineering methods (ISO15288 as well as ISO 26262 & ISO/SAE 21434)
  • Knowledge of requirements engineering (IBM DOORS)
  • These are proven either by certification (Incose CSEP or similar) or by previous experience (completed projects in the field of aerospace, defense, or similar)
  • Ideally, the employees have automotive ECU development experience at the interfaces to HW, HW-related SW and SW platform
  • English: fluent, German nice-to-have
