Your main tasks
- Develop system-level services for an In-Flight Entertainment system
- Create, package, and deploy services in a cloud-based environment
- Manage CI/CD pipelines for services using Kubernetes and Gitlab CI
- Participate in the rollout of software updates for the aircraft setup benchmark
- Collaborate with team members and product owners to analyze user stories and tasks
- Implement protocols and standards for communication between system components
- Work with cross-functional teams to create a world-class IFE ecosystem
- Research and evaluate new technologies for use in the system
Your profile
- At least 5 years of experience as a backend software engineer
- Proven experience building complex systems with Node.js/Typescript
- Proficiency with Docker, system integrations, and Linux environments
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting in development processes
- Experience with Message Queues and Sockets (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, Socket.io, web-sockets) is a plus
- Hands-on and DevOps-oriented with a proactive team player mentality
- Able to work with local and remote team members
- Well-organized with a structured approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills
- Curious and eager to understand technologies in depth
- Must possess the ability to live and work in Germany
