About the role

Modis is looking for experienced Microsoft Lead Consultant who is ready to take their career to the next level. In this role, you will be charged with designing and implementing solutions focusing on the Microsoft Azure, Power Platform and Dynamics ecosystem.

You will be supported by a wider team of technology and business experts. The nature of the role demands adaptability and versatility. This role is highly customer focussed, requiring strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to problem solve with agility.

Responsibilities:

  • Thinking without the blinkers on; the Microsoft stack has many technologies/services and lots of cross over, knowing when to use the right technology for the job is essential.
  • Provide Subject matter expertise across Microsoft Azure, Power Plaftorms and Dynamics
  • Provide guidance, expertise, and internal consulting services on PowerApps, Flow and Power BI projects
  • Participate in the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of enterprise-scale information portal and knowledge management system
  • Design and architect new cloud-oriented solutions and proof of concept designs for our cloud and mobile platforms;
  • Perform feasibility assessments, planning, testing and technical documentation for our implementation teams;
  • Review business, functional and technical requirements and translate these into technical solutions;
  • Monitor the progress of architecture projects and ensure the agreed design is followed by the implementation team;
  • Document maintain and update governance documentation and best practices.

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience in the Microsoft Power Platform - MS PowerApps, MS Flow and PowerBI
  • Experience with Microsoft enterprise technologies such as Dynamics CRM, SharePoint Online or cloud technologies - e.g. Azure PaaS
  • Experience with Azure Services; LogicApps, Azure Service Bus Queues, Azure Blob Storage, CosmosDB, Azure SQL, Azure Monitor (et al), App Registrations, Azure Apps, Key Vault, Resource Groups, Data Factory
  • Experience with data technologies like Power Query, Data Flows, Data Factory, Workspaces, Power Platform Data Gateways.
  • Web API Experience focused on cloud integration patterns; OpenAPI/Swagger, LogicApps, JSON, App Registrations, MS Graph.
  • Experience with current versions of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online
  • Custom workflow assembly development, CRM form programming (i.e. Java Script), Custom page integration
  • Experience with Azure DevOps/TFS or other version control products for Dynamics CRM solution development and implementation
  • Proficiency in customising Dynamics 365 solutions using workflows, plug-ins and other cloud based services
  • Dynamics Portal experience
  • Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with other third-party application
  • Background in .Net development (C#, web services) will be highly regarded
