To meet Modis' continuously growing pipeline of work, we are looking for a Defence Account Director to join, support and drive our expanding business.

Role Purpose

The Account Director (AD) leads the client relationships and the success of all Modis services for assigned accounts. You will have expert relationship, people leadership and strong sales skills, In addition to significant industry knowledge to address clients' needs. The AD will provide leadership, vision and strategic direction to consultants and ensures that all Modis's business goals relating to our customers, people, finance and operations are achieved.

The AD establishes trusted and influential client relationships at all levels within target customer accounts with focus in the following areas:

Customer

  • Is accountable for all sales activities for the assigned clients that expand existing business, leveraging Modis' premier pre-sales function
  • Leads negotiations effectively with clients on projects/ opportunities to extend existing business
  • Builds trusted partner status, customer loyalty and brand position through changing the customer's experience.
  • Brings insights to the client on a regular basis, leveraging both industry and technology trends as well as Modis insights relevant to the client's organisational goals
  • Ensures effective relationships are in place at all levels within accounts.
  • Achieve target Net Promoter Score, in line with KPIs.

Leadership

  • Provides leadership to create success, growth and energy, and role models our values in all behaviours and actions.
  • Creates a culture that attracts and retains the best people, develops talent, rewards success and enables people to build careers at Modis.
  • Coaches and builds skills of all direct reports.
  • Oversees the account leadership team and the account cultural leadership team

The ideal candidate

  • You will be a proven Account Executive having more than 5 years' experience in managing large multi-million dollar technology service accounts
  • Experience in Australian Federal Government, ideally within Defence and/or Defence Industry
  • 10+ years' Experience in Technology Consulting Services
  • Have built exceptional levels of customer advocacy
  • An Australian Citizen and holds a current Australian Security Clearance
