Manage end to end site quality requirements nationally in accordance with the Project Quality Plans, customer requirements, and applicable requirements, this is a 6 month contract up to 3 years.

Key responsibilities

  • Regional Subject Matter Expert for quality compliance regarding site standards across all installation activities, handover/acceptance criteria and client deliverables.
  • Support maintenance of a Quality Audit (QA) tracking system to supply rating metrics and site compliance analysis
  • Conduct/implement audits both internally/externally to ensure compliance, track improvement and provide recommendations to upper management for best practice across current procedures (risk review and trend analysis).
  • Perform audits/inspections prior to equipment installation to ensure quality site readiness in accordance with the project plans
  • Issue and track non-conformance reports and foster the appropriate continual improvement actions to prevent systemic recurrence
  • Provide/create/implement training across quality to ensure operations are in line with the company's policies and procedures
  • Support and administer site quality support with regards to ensuring compliance
  • Create/update/review site quality documentation (processes, guidelines, templates, audit checklists, etc.) and/or quality requirements that relate to site quality
  • Primary local support and management of remote auditors (GDC RSQE) nationally
  • Conduct audits of GDC RSQE auditors as part of Audit the Auditor process.

Key accountabilities

  • Role model for quality Culture by confronting and managing risk and quality.
  • Communicate openly, simply, directly and promptly whilst listening and providing feedback on concerns.
  • Support HSE and Quality performance through personal involvement
  • Provide support to Key Internal Stakeholders and Customer representatives on site Quality issues as required
  • Provide feedback to project managers and workers on site HSE and Quality Issues or areas for improvement
  • Assist in pre-contract, planning and ongoing Quality Systems development
  • Offer support and advice in mitigating risks and hazards
  • Support other regions on GDC remote Quality Auditing process
  • Mentoring RSQE GDC remote auditors (Utilising NDPc (Talon View))
  • Key customer contact for onsite inspections, identified risks or issues
  • Creation/updates/review of site quality documentation and processes
  • Look for opportunities to improve the accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness of quality standards, guidelines, policies and process, and ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with the business, HSE and Quality systems as developed and implemented. Continually reinforce requirement to conduct activities in accordance with stated values, policies & procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • Coordinate and lead project level Quality audits or reviews.
  • Analyse data and monitor project site quality performance and develop reports as required
  • Facilitate site quality practices between customer, Service Suppliers and our client
  • Contribute to project, discipline and business unit improvement ideas
  • Support Continual Improvement practices
  • Develop internal Quality training packages
  • Facilitate and co-facilitate delivery of Quality training packages
  • Train and competency assess personnel in developed quality procedures with the assistance of a subject matter expert (SME)
  • Implement the site quality elements of quality management system, including preparation and dissemination of all relevant documentation and reporting.
  • Implement quality planning processes as required
  • Support review/updates of Quality systems/programs and initiatives
  • Conduct site Quality inspections and audits
  • Participate in reviews and updates of quality scope within Project Plans/ Procedures /Forms
  • Provide sire quality reporting to Customers, Service Suppliers, internal management as required
  • Provide project-level processes to support the implementation of Quality elements of our clients' Management System
  • Engage workers and other key stakeholders to ensure their input into Quality processes as applicable
  • Develop and deliver Quality instruction and/or training
  • Coordinate project level Quality audits and/or reviews
  • Assist and advise the project in managing external governance requirements
  • Review the consistent implementation of the project quality plans as applicable
  • Prepare written reports on applicable quality scope
  • Contribute to project, discipline and business unit improvement ideas
  • Recommend corrective actions that focus on systematic improvement and transferable lessons
  • Assist in the development of Quality teams
  • Ensure behaviours are consistent to enhance the team environment
  • Assist others to meet business objectives when required
  • Provide updates to Customer, Service Suppliers and internal contacts
