IT Service Desk Consultant - Level 1 / Level 2

Location - Perth

Contract Role - 6 months to begin with long term extension

(*Potential Full-time conversion for a committed individual)

The Role

To support the growing business the company has an exciting opportunity for Service Desk Consultant Level 1/ Level 2 professional to join their team.

This is a 6-month contract role to begin with long-term extension and potential full-time conversion for the right and committed professional who is looking to grow and develop skills further.

Rate: $42+sup p/h

IT Service Desk Level 1 / Level 2

The Service Desk Consultant role revolves around a consistent customer service experience. Being Customer focused and willing do whatever it takes to achieve the best outcomes for our clients. This will all be accomplished by adhering to company's ticket handling policies and other processes. Working well within a team, being organised and sharing knowledge is needed to work through assigned priorities All the while, being technical to resolve issues efficiently, and apply sustainable resolutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the ticket life cycle
  • Provide actions plans on all tickets L1/L2, report back to the Lead
  • Complete calls and tickets as per daily/weekly average
  • Adhere to ticket handling process
  • Work through issues and resolve them
  • Investigate and provide solutions
  • Follow the right escalation procedures
  • Work collaboratively with Lead and the team to balance work requirements
  • Provide customer service excellence
  • Engage client in friendly and professional manner
  • Adhere to company values (work as part of a team, reference core values)

Skills and Experience:

  • Min 1+ years' experience in the IT helpdesk/service desk
  • Tools used: ServiceNow/Jira/Other tools
  • Prior experience in a Financial Industry an advantage but not a must.
