Closing the gap in psychological support for MS patients

Our client is a local affiliate of a large pharmaceutical company and a global leader in effective therapies for major diseases, including multiple sclerosis (MS).

How Modis added value

In collaboration with neurologists and MS nurses in the field, the customer identified a specific need of MS patients: they lacked adequate psychological support. Even more, the specialists also said that their patients could benefit from cognitive evaluation early on in the progression of the disease, in order to manage it better in their daily lives.

Together with the customer and field specialists, Modis set up a pilot patient support program to provide psychological support to patients. We engaged experienced neuropsychologists with experience in MS and managed the program from end to end.

The program was so successful that the project will be expanded to target 340 patients in 2019. The customer strengthened its relationship with prescribers through the program, and transformed itself into a true partner in improving patient well-being and cognitive evaluation results.
