Our client, a US based Health Care company that develops innovative personal care products, is looking for a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist with experience in food (supplements) for their EMEA Headquarters located in Brussels. You are offered a full time permanent contract in direct.


In this role you will take on senior responsibilities in the Regulatory Affairs team and you will report to the Regulatory Affairs Manager.

Function information

Your focus is on-time filing of regulatory submissions and post-approval maintenance of regulatory dossiers for food supplements.

Internal and external collaboration with the stakeholders is daily business. You will mostly interact with project teams and regulatory agencies in relation to submissions and other relevant topics

The training of regulatory specialists as well as other departments (Marketing/Legal/Quality/…) on regulatory requirements are also part of your role as Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist.

In addition, you develop a regulatory strategy for issues which could significantly impact project timelines and costs. You provide direction in the New Product Development process as regulatory lead.

You are responsible for critically identifying and escalating issues to Regulatory Manager.

Make sure that you are updated on all regulatory requirements and guidelines related to food supplements.

Finally, you use a pragmatic approach in managing projects and risk assessments.


You have a scientific bachelor or master degree and around 5 years’ experience in Product Regulatory Affairs for food and/or food supplements at EU level.

English holds no secrets from you and you can effectively and fluently communicate. Every other European language is considered a plus.

You are familiar with working in a fast-paced setting with evolving goals and objectives.

It’s a must that you have a strong sense for organization in order to smoothly multitask. And that you are able to systemically analyze problems and propose thorough and creative solutions.
