Position Highlights

As a Server Desk Agent you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving tickets, which are automatically generated from notification systems or monitoring tools for a large variety of supported technologies
  • Troubleshooting the reported errors on the server-side and/or determine the root cause
  • Server-side day to day work are: server restart, service check, and restart, Event viewer/sys logs check, system resource usage check (CPU, file system, RAM)
  • Managing high priority tickets In the cases when the Server desk agent does not have the right to resolve the issues, the tickets are dispatched accordingly to the next level support teams. No end-user calls are expected. Telephone and e-mail communication is performed with the client’s IT representatives

If you have:

  • High level of written and verbal English and German
  • Ability to work on a 24x7 shift rotation
  • Strong technical skills
  • Ability to proactively learn new technologies, processes and search for solutions

As an advantage will be considered: 

  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • University degree in IT/Computer science or professional certification
  • Strong analytical troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of at least one of the following technologies
  • Linux/ Linux Server
  • Windows Server
  • Web applications (e.g. Apache, Tomcat)
  • SAP
