Position Highlights

Key Role Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the optimal functioning of the database, linked with the respective applications and tools
  • Implements tools to ensure data consistency
  • Performs a permanent inventory and manages the different components 
  • Monitor, control and support service delivery; ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed 
  • Ensure the incident and problem management process are correctly applied
  • Proactively support opportunity for standardization and simplification of the support processes, to increase efficiency within the organization
  • Ensure that the support model of the service is operational and adapted
  • Ensure processes, best practices and golden rules alignment and adoption based on guidelines 
  • Proactively drive legacy management, security vulnerability recovery and DRP testing

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Proficiency in managing Oracle Database

             - Versions 12c to 18c

  • Good knowledge of Oracle administration
  • Proven experience in managing RAC or Data guard implementations

  • Basic Windows Server and Linux System
  • General understanding of backup solutions and their impact on Databases
  • 3-5 Years of experience in Infrastructure Maintenance Support in a very diverse IT landscape with a strong focus on Oracle database technology
  • Experience with Global IT environments
  • Proficiency in English
