  • Experience with a wide variety of back-end focused technologies, Ruby on Rails is a plus being the technology you’ll be working with.

  • Your responsibilities 

  • Add new features and maintain existing features of our APIs.
  • Be an active and lead contributor to our products documentation.
  • Implement technological solutions to improve the end-user experience, through changes to our API platform.
  • Assist with relationships with internal stakeholders - within the team and the wider company.
  • Participate in discussions with the development team about technical
  • challenges; plan and apply scalable solutions.
  • Your superpowers and capabilities

  • 2+ years experience of API focused web development.
  • Experience with Unix systems.
  • Experience with databases and memory stores (Postgres and Redis).
  • Experience building Ruby on Rails and / or Node.js applications.
  • Experience building (REST) APIs.
  • Ability to debug complex problems involving full stacks of API, database and network layers.
  • Experience with Docker and cloud deployment.
  • Excellent testing/debugging skills.
  • High level of organization and strong attention to detail.
