Senior .NET Developer Accountable for the project delivery, ongoing support of application systems in production including problem analysis, resolution, escalation, and reporting as necessary
Develop and test application software, working with business, validating system requirements, and utilizing standard procedures and techniques
Review, investigates, and analyzes issues independently.
Work with various Technical Support teams
Document business issues and the specific solutions provided
Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, interface design, internal and external checks, controls, inputs and outputs.
Required skills:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive information technology experience with full application development life cycle and systems integration experience
Experience with Microsoft .Net (VB.NET, ASP, C#, JavaScript, Ajax, XML, JQuery, and TFS )
Experience with Windows, Unix, and/or Linux Server Performance Tuning
Experience with PostgreSQL
Experience with Scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc)
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, or other DBMS
Knowledge of Application Performance Management techniques
Knowledge of DevOps Methodology and Toolsets
Knowledge of Cloud Service Management
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of the financial and insurance industries, specifically insurance business
Knowledge of ITIL Methodology
Knowledge of AWS
Knowledge of source code management
Knowledge of Agile Development Methodology
