Candidate Requirements/Must-Have Skills:

  • Over 8 years of technical experience as a Business Systems Analyst, adept at translating high-level business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and design documents.

  • Proficient in Enterprise Applications like ServiceNow Notify, PagerDuty, and Confluence.

  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Workflows, Service Request, or IT Operations Management (ITOM).

  • Holds certification with the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.

  • Experience in change management, enterprise training, rollout strategies, and familiarity with both Agile and traditional Waterfall SDLC methodologies.

  • Previous experience in the Banking/Financial Industry.

Typical Day in Role:

  • Champions a customer-focused culture, enhancing client relationships and leveraging broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.

  • Collaborates with Scotiabank AlgoSec iTRAC and security teams to enhance and update existing AlgoSec process documents, extending the scope to include new cloud processes and regions such as Mexico and LATAM.

  • Works with the Mexico marketing and communications team to develop and execute a communication strategy for the introduction of the new AlgoSec process to all Mexico and LATAM Scotiabank staff.

  • Ensures all activities align with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

  • Hosts workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements for Business Requirements Documents & Functional Requirements Documents.

  • Serves as the focal point between business and technical teams, proactively tracking project status and ensuring alignment, escalating issues if necessary.

  • Champions a high-performance and inclusive work environment.
