Core Skills:

  • Proficient in Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge

  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating modernization projects for large, complex multi-platform environments

  • Skilled in directing project teams to ensure on-time delivery adhering to government standards

  • Expertise in organizational development, strategy planning, and Ministry funding requests

  • Ability to create and maintain detailed project schedules and integrated plans

  • Experience in developing complex project budgets with cross-ministry dependencies

  • Technical advisor on specific deliverables with knowledge of Agile/Scrum and waterfall methodologies

  • Familiar with Ontario Digital Standards Act and guidelines for digital government

  • Resolution of resourcing and interpersonal conflicts, negotiation of changes, and knowledge sharing among team members

  • Proficient in requirement management, quality assurance, and change management processes

  • Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations

Project Management and Communication Skills:

  • Experience with project management tools, Azure DevOps, and/or Jira for documentation

  • Proficient in tracking project finances, burn rates, and resource allocation

  • Collaboration with product owner to prioritize the product backlog

  • Expertise in requirements refinement, story point estimation, velocity, and retrospection

  • Contribution to the advancement of Agile practices and promotion of Agile values

  • Coordination and execution of Threat Risk Analysis (TRA) and Privacy Impact Analysis

  • Proactive identification and mitigation of potential risk events

  • Articulation of issues and risks at senior executive levels and recommendation of mitigation strategies

  • Documentation of business, technical, and system processes; identification and analysis of solution implementation options

  • Introduction of best practices, templates, and SharePoint management sites for software development

  • Excellent communication and written skills; effective team player under stress and tight deadlines
