  • Deliver a comprehensive range of I&IT and business analysis services for diverse client needs.

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand and analyze requirements.

  • Apply and advise on business analysis policies, processes, best practices, and standards.

  • Utilize operational planning and resource management techniques for business process improvement.

  • Conduct internal and external stakeholder interviews and design effective screener surveys.

  • Research, investigate, and assess information relevance, providing options analysis and risk mitigation.

  • Lead or support the design, development, and implementation of strategies and initiatives.

  • Apply political acuity to recognize and address issues impacting the ministry.

    Leadership & Project Management

  • Project Management

    • Support and lead business analysis for delivering new/updated digital systems aligned with program/initiative needs.

    • Create project plans with deliverables, dependencies, and adherence to budgets and timelines.

    • Proficient in performance measurement, change management, risk management, and reporting.

    • Work effectively in a hybrid project management and agile environment.

  • Leadership

    • Provide guidance on digital systems/products, data sources, and data context to program areas, ministry staff, and partners.

    • Advise program managers on risk management, performance measurement, cost-benefit analysis, and organizational improvement.

Business Analysis

  • Data Analysis

    • Identify issues through user research and lean analysis.

    • Review current processes, trends, and policies, proposing new/amended processes and guidelines.

    • Develop performance measures and traceability matrices; translate business and data requirements into tech specifications.

    • Adapt solutions if needed, with a willingness to try new approaches.

  • Business Analysis Skills

    • Apply operational planning and resource management to assess client business planning and priorities.

    • Conduct stakeholder interviews, write effective screener surveys, and assess information relevance.

    • Lead or support the design, development, and implementation of strategies and program initiatives.

  • Design Technical and Software Skills

    • Understand digital marketplace, platforms, and technology trends.

    • Ensure the design of complex digital services is user-friendly.

    • Utilize computer systems for trend analysis and evaluation of best practices.

Client Relationship Management

  • Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, meeting deadlines and managing priorities.

  • Collaborate with teams, influencing and guiding activities toward desired outcomes.

  • Persuade stakeholders to adopt changes in business processes and provide alternative practices.

  • Apply political acuity to recognize and respond to issues impacting the ministry.

Communication Skills

  • Prepare and present reports, recommendations, and briefing materials effectively.

  • Communicate with various stakeholders, including clients, developers, team members, and leaders.

  • Guide staff in content and record management with knowledge management principles.

  • Present and facilitate discussions, rationalize results, and build understanding for consensus.

  • Use adult education techniques for planning and implementing training sessions.
