Project Planning and Management

  • Develops/manages project schedules, deliverables, and scope: Takes charge of creating and overseeing project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of deliverables, and defining project scope.

  • Provides management/leadership to project teams: Offers guidance and leadership to project teams and external service providers/vendors throughout all project phases.

  • Manages and coordinates project monitoring: Oversees project monitoring activities, anticipates potential issues, troubleshoots problems, and enhances project effectiveness.

  • Promotes I&IT project management best practices: Advocates for the adoption of best practices in I&IT project management and ensures adherence to standard methodologies.

  • Manages, coordinates, supports planning documents and submissions: Leads or assists in the planning, development, and preparation of planning documents and submissions related to I&IT projects. Monitors project costs, provides reporting, and ensures targets are met.

  • Works with project teams to ensure project deliverables meet standards: Collaborates with project teams to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and comply with government and ministry standards.

  • Assists in planning and development of Terms of Reference and Project Charter: Provides support in planning, developing, producing, and approving Terms of Reference and Project Charter processes, documents, and deliverables.

  • Coordinates project processes and communicates guidelines: Coordinates and monitors project processes, develops guidelines and procedures, and effectively communicates them to relevant stakeholders.

  • Identifies potential conflicts and develops responses: Identifies potential conflicts between project and functional areas, develops responses, and seeks review and resolution.

IT Solutions Development

  • Manages project-related systems and procedures: Takes control of all project-related systems and procedures, including technology infrastructure change, transition, and implementation.

  • Makes recommendations on technology acquisition: Provides recommendations on software, hardware, and technology resource acquisition based on project requirements and objectives.
