Google street view has been offering a new way of seeing things since 2007. Google Japan even offers the street view from a dog’s perspective! You can even experience new destinations using virtual reality (VR). We’ve rounded up a mix of fun and historic locations to satisfy your appetite for adventure without the need for a first-class ticket. Ready to go?

Walt Disney World

The Walt Disney Company recently announced you can visit Disney World using Google street view. Yes, that’s right. Now you can visit Disneyland and Disney World destinations using these newly released maps. Great news seeing that ticket prices are expected to increase this year. So, whether you’re planning your next vacation or just want to see some of your favorite Disney characters, you can do it without leaving your house.

Pyramid of Giza

The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in what is now El Giza, Egypt. It’s also the oldest of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one still largely intact. This impressive structure rises 481 feet and archaeologists estimate it was once the tallest structure in the world.

Fans of Doctor Who can satisfy their urge to investigate the Time Lord’s time traveling spaceship by visiting 238 Earl’s Court Road, London, UK. It is one of South America’s most famous ruins and Peru’s most visited attraction. Located in a tropical mountain forest on the eastern slopes of the Peruvian Andes, Machu Picchu sprawls across an impressive 5-mile distance, and boasts more than 3,000 stone steps that link its many different levels. Each year, hundreds of thousands of tourists journey to see this man made wonder. You can marvel at this reminder of Incan civilization using your computer or smartphone.

King’s Landing

Whether you’re a fan of the best-selling book series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin, or the HBO TV-series Game of Thrones, you’ll get a kick out of using Google street view to visit King’s Landing. The fictional capital of the Seven Kingdoms is supposed to be located on the east coast of Westeros, situated along the kingsroad at the mouth of the Blackwater Rush, overlooking Blackwater Bay. But in real life, King’s Landing is filmed in the Croatian city of Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik’s seaside locale and imposing walls also stood in as the location of Qarth, an ancient port city featured in the second season of Game of Thrones.
