Automotive businesses know that success in adapting to e-mobility trends will mainly depend on greater adoption of new digital technologies and development of the skills to deliver them: they know hardware will take a back seat to software and services.

And it’s been predicted that as hardware becomes more generic, automotive producers will differentiate themselves through their ability to provide more sophisticated software functionality.

3. Improving sources of energy

In the U.S alone, the number of charging outlets has grown with upwards of 47,000 now scattered across the country, including 6,270 fast-charging outlets.
