DevOps Engineer
Akkodis are currently working with an exciting technology company who are at the forefront of their industry and are looking for an experienced hands-on DevOps engineer to join their expanding team. This role is perfect for someone who has 3 to 4 years of experience within the world of DevOps and Cloud Engineering. DevOps is a huge part of this organisations culture and you'll be a key member of the technology team.
Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins.
- Automate build and release pipelines
- Ensuring deployment and releases are time efficient and also quality efficient. Working with testing, software development and product teams.
- Heavily involved in Continuous integration, automation, scripting.
- Write code using Python
- Write and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Deployment and operating products in public and private cloud environments (AWZ, Azure, On-Prez)
Skills
- Experience with configuration management tools such as ansible.
- Strong skills in building infrastructure using either Terraform or CloudFormation
- Strong Linux skills (Ubuntu, Debian etc.).
- Experience of using Docker for containerisation purposes.
- Strong experience of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using the likes of GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI, CodeBuild etc.
- Familiarity with scripting (Python)

- Salary £50,000 - £80,000 dependent on experience
