Systems & Data Analyst

Modis are currently working in partnership with a market leading enterprise business to recruit an experienced Systems & Data Analyst with a good understanding of data analytics and business process mapping.

Please note that this a remote role but you will need to be happy to travel in to the office in Northamptonshire from time to time.

The Role

As a Systems & Data Analyst you will lead a small team of Systems & Data Analysts and assist the Systems & Data Manager to identify opportunities for service improvement.

The Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of analysts to manage change, maintain existing systems and processes and develop a suite of reporting dashboards.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement to the business
  • Analysis of workloads and resource requirements across the various teams
  • Provide strong stakeholder management with an ability to challenge and influence stakeholders across various levels utilising standard stakeholder management techniques
  • Assist with project/change initiation and production of project/change documentation, take part in quality reviews, ensure business requirements are protected throughout projects/changes and identify, assess, and obtain approval for requests for changes.

The Requirements

  • Significant experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping and related documentation
  • Knowledge and experience of formal analysis techniques
  • Some experience of leading a team
  • Understanding of applying Business Analysis techniques in an agile environment
  • Good understanding of a range of business applications (e.g. finance, HR, procurement, and operations), ERP systems and integration and workflow tools
  • Experience of providing pre and post-implementation support to users
  • Business-focused, service-driven mindset
  • Ability to establish, maintain and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and communicate effectively to influence outcomes
  • Ability to produce high quality documentation
  • Self-motivated, result oriented, able to work in a team and on own initiative
