I am recruiting on behalf of a completely new UK based Microsoft Dynamics Consultancy, so this is an opportunity to join a company from the very beginning of their journey. My client is looking for a D365FO Solution Architect on a permanent basis - it's mainly remote based with frequent visits to the London office. please see below for more information:

What will the role involve?

  • Be a leader in delivering efficient and effective solutions for our clients
  • The role includes supporting the entire sales cycle through client workshops, defining requirements, supporting technical solution inputs, assessing risk and ascertaining commercial viability of opportunities to enable the successful creation of both informal and formal tenders and bids.
  • You will be working on opportunities valued from £50k to £5m+ and providing insight to help the growth and development of our Digital transformation portfolio as well as driving the methodology of our future delivery models for resourcing such as associate network, bench talent and onboarding practices.
  • We work across both Public and Private sectors and therefore experience in both would be desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day to day running of the Microsoft practice reporting into the Head of Data Consultancy services
  • Build solutions based on the Microsoft solution stacks -
  • Dynamics ERP Solitons (Sales, Marketing, Service, Finance, Operations, Commerce, HR)
  • Dynamics ERP Solitons (Sales, Sales Professional, Relationship Sales, Services, Field Service, Marketing)
  • Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power automate, DataVerse)
  • Microsoft Cloud/ Integration (Azure, AIS, BizTalk, Saas, IaaS, PaaS)
  • Deliver technical consultation through the full sales cycle for the product and solutions based on the client's business requirements
  • Delighting the customers with exceptional customer service
  • Oversee the development architecture process with the engineering team
  • Design and build D365 solutions that meet client objectives
  • Build existing and new D365 products
  • Responsible for capturing client requirements including the as-is processes in scope for solutions
  • Responsible for delivering solutions based on agreed Blueprints with the client
  • Validates solution components and provide solution walkthrough with client
  • Will identify technical issues / risks and present alternatives to mitigate or resolve
  • Guide and support team across multiple client engagements by providing technical thought leadership and guide team on standard methodologies for design & development.
  • Drive innovation within the practice/team by creating/identifying re-usable components, tools, accelerators & as well work on increasing adoptions of these accelerators during delivery
  • Create and deliver post implementation support service for clients
  • Oversee data migrations, integrations, report design and design of security
  • Deliver through the full software lifecycle process (Discovery, Design, Build, Test, Cutover)

What experience will you need?

  • Dynamics 365 certifications
  • Understand best practice for delivery, all solutions need to be scalable and designed with the client requirements in mind
  • Have successfully delivered solutions in complex client requirements/ environments leading on architecting, design and hands-on development of the solution implemented
  • 6+ years Microsoft D365 F&O (or similar) development experience to include integrations and data migration techniques.
  • Enhance/ Customise Dynamics 365 F&O for customers based on their business requirements.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Good listening skills, with the ability to quickly resolve problems, action solutions with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Understanding and assimilating information from various sources.
  • Being able to recognize and deal with conflict or sensitive situations.
  • A clear ability to organize your own time and resources.
  • Effective and clear written communication skills.
  • Agile master on methodology & experience in designing workflow rules to carry out business processes
  • Proven competence working cross-culturally is required.
