The type of candidates we would welcome the opportunity to speak with will have extensive experience in cyber threat intelligence analyst positions. However, if your job title slightly varied to this then please do not be put off from applying. Sound understanding of the cyber landscape with in-depth knowledge, well versed with cyber / security incidents, various methods of attack plus related areas.

It is essential that your written and verbal communications skills are second to none, with vast experience in writing complex / detailed reports for large clients, we would expect this sort of knowledge to show on your resume please. Ideally you will have operated within the financial services along with having operated in a SOC (security operations centre) perhaps you have knowledge of reverse engineering, pen testing, network security, cryptography, incident response, DLP (data loss prevention) or closely related areas would be beneficial.

Solid and proven knowledge with MITRE ATT&CK framework & cyber kill chain, tactical threat intelligence, operational threat intelligence and strategic threat intelligence.

The ability to keep your composure, professionalism during busy periods.

Operated with threat intelligence platforms plus threat hunting knowledge.

Able to communicate sophisticated technical information into a clear and concise manner.

Certified under CREST, SANS, CTIA or related bodies would be highly beneficial.

Someone from a strong Incident Response / SOC background could potentially do very well here, so please do not be put off from applying.

You will have the opportunity to work on the advanced intelligence projects, guiding Junior members of the team, technical reporting writing and collaborating with other departments to meet clients requirements.

There is plenty to get your teeth into and this is just a taste of what to expect.

Some very occasional travel across Europe from time to time.
