Customer Analytics Consultant

My client, a nationally recognised financial services business, is looking for a Customer Analytics Consultant to join their rapidly growing Customer Data and Analytics team.

This is a full time, permanent role paying a salary of £40,000 - £46,000 dependant on experience plus a generous annual bonus (circa 15%) and market leading benefits package.

This will be a hybrid role where the successful candidate will ideally be in the West Midlands head office an average of 1 day per week.

The role:

This is a truly exciting time for the Customer Data and Analytics team and I am looking for the right candidates to help my client showcase to the business what data can really do. The Customer Analytics Consultant will gain exposure to customer profiling, customer retention statistics and data trends offering interesting insight and context into the business and its loyal customer base.

The Customer Analytics Consultant will work with management and internal stakeholders to drive a deeper understanding of customers, their needs, behaviours, traits and experiences with self-service capability, presenting interpretations in a clear and concise manner, to allow enhancement of customer strategies across the business.

You will utilise advanced technical ability combined with strong interpersonal skills to capture requirements and develop tangible insight that will drive business value, working in a consultative manner with internal stakeholders to enable data driven decision making, aligned to business and strategic objectives.

The person:

  • Must be data minded with the ability to extract, manipulate and interpret customer related data.
  • Must have demonstrable SQL experience (preferably with Microsoft SQL Server) and will also ideally have experience of using an interactive data visualisation tool such as Power BI, QlikView or Tableau.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience is key, and you must be resilient with the ability to work autonomously.
