D365 Business Analyst

Brief:
Our client is seeking a D365 Test Analyst to join their finance team. The role will report to the programme director and you will continue to provide support and analysis for the clients finance team after the project is completed.
The right candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and identifying opportunities for further system development. Candidates with experience in D365 are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing the D365 Finance system including Core Financial Modules, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Multi-Currency, Multi-Company.
- Review business requirements, user stories, issue logs with product owners, BAs, SMEs and end users and clarify any ambiguity ensuring test conditions are understood.
- Develop test plans/scripts from business requirements and user stories, requirement specifications, change requests and identified product gaps.
- Be familiar with all testing types and Agile software development principles.
- Documenting, recording bugs and errors discovered during system, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Work with partners and leadership to identify positive and negative test scenarios based on software requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Learn and use the test automation tool to create and execute automated test scripts.
- Communicate in a clear and professional manner, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical users.
Core Skills, Attributes & Requirements:
- Degree, masters, MBA or equivalent experience.
- Relevant Professional Testing Qualification.
- Experience of testing full software development lifecycles.
- Knowledge of D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (FSCM) is preferred.
- Awareness and involvement on multiple project methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, PRINCE2, Microsoft Sure Step.
- Understanding software development lifecycles.
- Understanding of risk management and tools.
- Excellent organisational, administration, stakeholder management and time management skills.
- Good team communication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external clients.
