I am working with a global consultancy as they look to grow their UK-based team who work on Global Business Services (GBS) / Shared Services Centre (SSC) projects for a multitude of clients across the UK. I am looking to speak to experienced GBS consultants who are looking to join a terrific team near the start of their inception.

This role will see you take up a key position in this team where you will be actively involved in a range of advisory projects based around SSC/GBS. You will be getting involved with a variety of projects including: automation (RPA), process assessment, operational excellence, SSC migration and setup. You will be getting involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand client's setups and working closely with them through all aspects of the transformation programme.

You will be working with the team to identify and manage risks, ensuring that frameworks are correctly, efficiently, and effectively implemented in the context of the client's requirements. This management position will see you managing your more junior colleagues, ensuring that the work carried out is to the highest standard.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working with GBS, SSC, or Business Process Outsourcing - this can be across any relevant business process (finance, HR, Procurement, IT, Data & Analytics). You will need to have strong project/programme management experience and have lead large projects based around transformation/migrations. Deploying problem solving frameworks and improving processes will have been integral in your day to day work. You'll have to have experience working with ERP systems, alongside strong knowledge of MS Projects & Office.

This role is a great chance to join a global organisation and can be based from any of their many UK sites. They have adopted a hybrid working practice where you will be in the office 2 days/week (maximum), with fully expensed travel to client site as and when the need arises.
