Contract- 6 months

Location - Remote

Rate- 300 Umbrella (Inside IR35 Via Umbrella Company)

This role works with business areas and Leadership to improve employee engagement activity on a national and local level.

The candidate will need to be experienced in the development, delivery and ongoing evolution of a people engagement strategy and plan, supporting the leadership team and others in delivering clear, concise and consistent communications in keeping with the irreverant style. Excellent copywriting skills, a great sense of humour and the ability to pivot and adapt quickly are essential - we work in an agile way and those considering applying should consider themselves resiliant, adaptive and comfortable with ambiguity. There is also a need to be highly proactive with a flexible and collaborative work style, we prefer to make progress rather than be perfect and love to make progress every day.

The key objective of the role is to build and maintain an engaged engineering and delivery community within Accenture's cloud engineering business.

Role and Responsibilities

* Develop a clear calendar of planned engagement activities to reach and engage the community.

* Drive a consistent narrative across all touchpoints (e.g. campaigns, IWTV, Mini-confs, other events).

* Support the integration of Infinity Works by aligning to wider Accenture engagement and communications but also through executing an enhanced calendar of activity specific to the combined community.

* Identify and work with 'Engagement Champions' to create a sense of belonging within the community, and ensure that we are fostering a combined common culture of fantastic communicators.

* Deliver agreed communications on behalf of the Leadership Team and key leaders within Accenture UK&I Technology.

* Effectively influence and collaborate with colleagues to bring together the best of cultures and ways of working, and ultimately make a tangible business impact.

* Lead on internal conferences / live events, devise and host workshops, create and curate compelling content with a distinctive voice.

* Adopt and adhere to Accenture processes and approved communications platforms and suppliers.

* Encourage sharing of key learnings in insights amongst the community to increase efficiencies around client work.

* Collaborate closely with colleagues in the Accenture People Comms Team to align and share best practices.

* Manage external stakeholder relationships such as suppliers and creative agencies as required.

* Work within the leadership team to support our growth goals - the candidate will primarily work with the Exec Team, the commercial team and people operations.

Knowledge and skills required

* Proven expertise in devising and implementing engaging People Engagement campaigns.

* Excellent communications and writing skills.

* Ability to drive content creation and review, understanding how to write for and tone for different channels.

* Experienced in building credibility with a large network of key stakeholders, including highest levels of leadership.

* Resourceful approach to problem solving and ability to propose creative solutions.

* Strong event management and project management skills, with previous experience.

* Proactive self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team.

* Ability to put structure around ambiguously defined thoughts/situations.

* Be creative, think without limits, propose new ideas to drive engagement and be comfortable being misunderstood.

* Familiarity with a range of tech platforms such as Slack, Teams, the G-Suite, Microsoft productivity suite and the full range of social media platforms is essential.

Location: Remote, however proximity to Leeds or London preferred for any office working required. Some travel between Leeds and London to be expected.
