Position: IFM Strategic Operations Senior Buyer
Rate: £500-600 pd inside IR35
Contract: 6 month contract
Location: Remote
You will be responsible for delivering the IFM Procurement strategy across Europe, ensuring clients business needs such as value for money, quality delivery and risk management are met.
You will be part of a team that supports the business by educating, influencing and advising key stakeholders on procurement best practice. Additionally, you will be working alongside other team members managing and developing my clients suppliers, contributing towards long-term growth, efficiency and value.
Main Duties:
- The implementation of the Global Integrated Facilities Management strategy for Europe
- Supporting site data collection & communication
- Managing the termination of local contracts
- Managing the transition to IFM
- Upskilling the site teams in strategic supplier performance & relationship management
- Identifying and delivering service improvement & optimization
- Leading supplier performance & relationship management
- Acting as the first line of escalation on issues between suppliers and the business.
Successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
- Demonstrate the agility to move between BAU buying matters and operational issues then quickly transition to project management, stakeholder engagement matters.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of decision making
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to learn
- Willing and flexible to travel between sites across France, Spain and additionally across Europe, when required.
Experience/Skills Required:
- 5+ years' experience of indirect buying
- UK or EU driving licence
- Fluent in English
