I'm working with an established business in the Insurance sector on a fantastic Software Developer position. This company provides an impressive service to their customers and as a result have received multiple awards. The ability to deliver this service is in no small part down to the tools provided by the software delivery team!
Working closely with the development manager, this is a fantastic role for a candidate who wishes to see their ideas through to completion. Leading the technical direction of a team of software engineers in an Azure DevOps environment, the role will be hands on with a variety of technologies. Designing software solutions, mentoring team members, carrying out code review and motivating a team to exceed targets and meet deadlines, this is a crucial role for the health and productivity of the department.
Skills and Experience:
- Azure Dev Ops/ Cloud development, technologies and platforms (or Microsoft Azure)
- Have worked in Angular, Node, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML and JSON
- MS SQL
- NET Web API - RESTful Services
- Entity Framework
- IIS
- Microsoft Dynamics
- Capability of moving into front end technologies, e.g. JQuery, Angular/ knockout/backbone, Bootstrap
- IT Security best practice especially Application Security
- Experience of development in a highly regulated environment
- Experience of a Technical Lead role would be beneficial
