I am working with a Newark-based client who have experienced strong growth since the Coronavirus outbreak began. They're looking to bring someone in to join their IT team acting as a 1st/2nd Line Support Technician. You'll be joining a business that has both a physical and online presence, the latter which has really taken off in recent times.
I'm looking to speak to people who have a minimum of 3 years' experience covering IT support issues and is looking to move into a role which will allow them to get hands on with a wide-range of technology (both on the software and infrastructure side of things). The team you will be joining is fairly small and close-knit, so you'll get the chance to have a big impact within the team.
In this position you will be the 'go-to' person for initial IT support within the business. You'll be a great communicator who is happy working in a dynamic environment where you will be asked to get hands on with a wide variety of tech - including some bespoke software which you'll be trained up on.
You'll have demonstrable experience with most of the following:
- Networking - (Firewalls, switches & DNS)
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- MS Exchange
- Cyber Security
- Office 365
- Azure (Desirable)
This role will require someone who can work flexibly - core hours being 08:00-16:30; however, there will be some weekend work required.
