My prestigious client are renown for providing world-changing data insights for their customers - Their demand for Data is relentless. They're now looking to shape the future of their flagship data platform and they need somebody to help them align it with the next generation, sophisticated technology… And this is where you come in!
This is true Greenfield work as their whole platform is new - replacing what's on currently On-Premise. So naturally it is heavily vital to the business and its reputation. It is largely a C#/.NET product with SQL database and with AWS Cloud infrastructure. There's absolutely LOADS that they want to do with the platform.. Re-architecture, re-formed and it will be restructured all the time, so it isn't isn't just a simple shift of their old product.
You'll be a true Full Stack .NET expert with solid exposure to C# and you'll have a good handle on JavaScript and it's associated frameworks. I'm looking for someone who is obsessed with code testability and someone who is able to recognise software quality and approach the role with a truly enterprise scale level mindset. Cloud tech is at they heart of what these guys do - So we will need you to be a Cloud advocate and have a good grounding in AWS. Happy to have a chat if you are more Azure aligned but express an interest in the world of AWS.
These guys have a true DevOps mindset too - and whilst you dont need commercial exposure to DevOps (Terraform, Docker, Containerisation)I'll need you to have an understanding of what it is and why it's used.

In return you'll receive up to £55,000 base plus bonus and mega benefits. You'll have the freedom to largely work remotely but we'd like you to be flexible in visiting their beautiful, state-of-the-art offices where required in the heart of Nottingham City Centre 1-2 times a week.
