Lead Automation Engineer -Nottingham City Centre.
I'm working alongside a world-class business in Nottingham City Centre on their search for a Lead Automation Engineer to join their established QA working on enterprise-scale suite of products.
My client are a really successful organisation with a global presence - they have offices all over the world. They develop a range of market leading intelligence products for a truly enviable client portfolio across an array of industries and are innovators within their sector.
Firstly - you'll need to be an Automation expert and its absolutely key that you can code. They aren't precious about your language of choice, aslong as its object-oriented (ideally C#, Java, Python..)
Whilst overseeing a small team of QA Engineers you'll also be required to take lead in the definition and creation of the test frameworks as well as working closely with the product owners and dev team to contribute to the success of the high quality software products they produce.
Technically you will thrive from working in a hands on role and you'll naturally bring a solid understanding of the SDLC.
While this role is a hands on opportunity, as Lead Automation Engineer you will also take responsibility for motivating and developing your team whilst constantly inspiring better ways of working. I'm looking for an advocate of Agile too as you will be required to lead Kanban teams.
In return you'll receive a basic salary of £55k plus bonus scheme, pension scheme, flexible working options and work from state of the art offices in the heart of Nottingham City Centre.
