I'm working with a cracking technology business in the heart of Nottingham City Centre who are quickly becoming (if, not already!) one of the Midlands biggest, technology success stories. Whether you are an up-and-coming QA Tester or have a few years experience under your belt - there are heaps of opportunities here to join a company where you can deliver amazing products that can truly help change peoples lives for the better…! So.. who are they? Firstly - They are without a doubt one of the most exciting businesses locally and an enviable company to work for. They are totally tech-driven, agile and a dynamic business that responds quickly to change and that is reflected in their ability to bring new products to their market.. way before the competition. Despite being a young tech firm - they're already winning awards and their name is truly out there.
The team? There's a very healthy mix of Developers, a team of Automation Test Analysts, plus a load of other ancillary people like PM's, Data Architects, Product Owners, IT Support, etc. They have certainly developed out of "start up" mode now and have some real backing alongside having actually built and 'shipped' high profile websites, big data projects and also Mobile Apps. They have cross-functional teams with very little hierarchy and you will find yourself working in a highly motivated, technically forward team with a bunch of like-minded and extremely capable and likeable colleagues. They really are close-knit and know how to have laugh.. whilst getting the job done. Everyone shares a real passion for developing industry leading software - and that's simply why they are so successful. Their wider tech environment is broad including MongoDB, NServiceBUs, Octopus Deploy and Git/BitBucket - yet it continues to evolve.
Who are we looking for? I'm looking for someone who has cut their teeth with a recognised test automation toolset who wants to expand their knowledge in a fun and forward thinking environment. Whilst you might not have a massive amount of automation experience you will have a good understanding of manual testing and be looking to expand your knowledge of automation. You will be rubbing shoulders with some of the most talented coders and testers in the local market. You'll be expected to work closely with the developers.. creating high quality test cases ready for automation. I am looking for someone who has the ability to think outside the box and bring on new ideas and methods to bring more efficiency and effectiveness to the tests. Ideally you wont be afraid to code and have some exposure to C# too.
Finally - you'll benefit from working in brand new, spacious, relaxed, purpose-designed office environment created with Agile software development in mind right from the start.
Depending on your experience you can expect anything between £30,000-£38,000 plus bonus scheme (typically 5 - 10%), Pension scheme, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) They are also open to flexible working hours and you'll receive your very own MSDN subscription and PluralSight access.
Oh… and your very own annual personal development budget (that can be used for anything… within reason!) You'll also have the option of using 10% of your time for personal development and R&D and conference attendance is fully encouraged and supported.
I want to speak to you today - so call me on 0115 9485708 or click apply
