Service Delivery Manager | £65k + car allowance | Remote

I am working with a growing nationwide company who are looking for a cracking Service Delivery Manager to come in and support their UK IT Managers in delivering an effective and efficient service and support landscape. This is a hands-on role which will see you working right across the business to ensure that highly available, business aligned, and valuable services are able to be provided. You'll need to have customer service at the heart of everything you do, and be adept in translating technical jargon into understandable business language for stakeholders.

My client are a growing nationwide firm who are looking for a Service Delivery Manager with a solid understanding of ITIL, flawless incident/problem change exposure and most importantly - exceptional stakeholder management skills. You'll be able to confidently engage with stakeholders of all levels and this is absolutely key; as in this role you will work in a Senior level leadership team who are essentially an extension of the board - so you'll need to be able to communicate at board comfortably at board level.

So, ultimately you'll absolutely thrive from working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. In this role you will contribute to their ongoing drive for service improvement - so I'm looking for someone who can pragmatically identify improvement and risk management agenda. Naturally, you'll be a top-notch problem solver.

You'll be a huge advocate of service and bring the ability to identify opportunities and efficiency's to maximise service delivery and customer experience. You'll also be able to use data to drive decision making and perform analysis, to really help drive the team forward. The client have spent a lot of time and money on moving their services into the cloud, so experience working with managed services and cloud-based supplier management experience is a must. You'll be developing your own team and ensuring their mentality can deal with high volumes of competing demand and priorities.

You'll also definitely bring a "thought leader mentality" to this role, with the ability to educate and engage the wider business on emerging Infrastructure and technology within your area, using your knowledge to drive the business forward.

You'll be tenacious, technically curious with cast iron integrity and you'll be an approachable, inspirational leader... someone who is able to gain the trust and respect of your wider team.

In return you'll receive up to £65k basic, a £6k car allowance (depending on a couple of factors), remote working (with occasional travel to a local office) plus a solid benefits package.
