I am working exclusively with one of the most exciting clients in the local area. This company have gone from strength to strength in recent years and are now embarking on the next stage of their growth. They have an exciting opportunity to join them within their Support team. This is a multi-faceted role which will give you exposure to clients, whilst working on supporting internal systems as well.
To be successful in this role you need to have experience with:
- Project Management Techniques
- Technical Support or System Engineering
- Speaking with clients
In this role you will be managing technical aspects of projects for their UK clients, looking at ensuring bugs are fixed and eradicated within systems, and at various stages of the SDLC - including design, integration, configuration, test, and compliance. You will be working closely with Project Managers with client status reviews, and ensuring that they are receiving adequate support, and all systems are running as expected. This role will also allow you to get involved in the tendering process, from proposal and design, through to delivery. You'll be given the opportunity to travel to client sites (which includes some international travel).
You will be managing and coordinating internal systems and engineering resources, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure the project schedule, risk, and cost objectives are met.
You'll need to be an outstanding communicator, and happy speaking with, and meeting clients. You might have had some project management experience, or exposure to project management tools and methodologies. Any experience with databases and IT communications will be beneficial to your application.
