An opportunity to work with a major supplier during a period of transformation. This Product owner or Service Delivery role will run with the delivery of public cloud infrastructure across a programme with international impact. Currently utilising parts of Azure cloud services as a hybrid model including on-prem systems, this client is going all in on Azure cloud, implementing Azure cloud infrastructure to delivery on a variety of business needs.
Holding relationships with third party supplier will be a large part of this role, holding the current MSP to deliver on the key business requirements form a support perspective. This will require a good knowledge of IaaS elements of Azure Cloud and well as strong problem-solving skills.
The position offers a fantastic opportunity to cement yourself as a key pillar in the company, with this being one of the first hires in a new team. Shaping the product roadmap, having a significant say in composing the team you will need to succeed and deliver. Experience & Responsibility:
- Continuous development of the Public Cloud Platform through development of processes, tools, methodologies, and policy.
- Own the overall strategy and public cloud roadmap.
- Support application teams with design and validation of migration plans.
- Continuous involvement in IT projects and PI planning from other areas of IT.
- Own the Public Cloud Platform and steer team, together with external vendors in task priority and completion.
- Working with cyber security team to assure security rules and practices are adhered to.
- System documentation.
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Azure Cloud services (IaaS)
- ITIL
- Agile SAFe
- DevOps
- Experience working with external vendors
