A well-known UK Technology company are hiring a new SQL Developer. This is a brand-new role that has come about due to ongoing exceptional growth within the company.
To be suitable for this position, you MUST have worked as a SQL Developer for 3+ years and have experience developing various sizes/types of Databases.
General duties:
- It is crucial that you have a knowledge of SQL Server performance monitoring, query tuning and SQL Server Internals
- You'll work as part of the team who are responsible for building and maintaining real-time and batch regulatory submissions and reporting systems
- Previous experience of working as part of a team that- provide complex solutions
- Can identify trends and patterns within and across datasets throughout the organisation
- Have a history of implementing solutions to the business to improve general processes
Responsibilities:
- Your main responsibility will be to participate in developing and maintaining data-centric solutions in response to varied business problems, principally utilising SQL Server.
- One of your main tasks will be assisting in the continuous improvement, maintenance and housekeeping of several databases and existing solutions.
- You will work collaboratively with colleagues/stakeholders across the business
- This a fully remote role however, you can work in their Manchester City Centre-based office if you would like
