An Embedded Software Engineer is required for a long term contract assignment with a muti-national defence company based in Stevenage.
You will be responsible for developing the real-time systems application software for the next generation of Missile Systems. This is a technical hands-on role and will involve designing, implementing and testing safety-critical Actuator subsystem software for missile products.
What we're looking for
1. Demonstrable experience of hard real time software development on Bare-Metal systems.
2. Strong C Programming.
3. Good problem-solving capability to investigate software/hardware issues.
4. Experience working on safety critical software (SIL3/4 or DO178C software level B/A).
5. Experience working in a lab environment on an electro mechanical product running embedded software.
6. Requirements analysis/review or authoring in DOORS.
7. Use of configuration control tools such as RTC & git.
