I have been engaged to find a Senior Developer or part Developer, part Architect who wants a fast-paced and thoroughly challenging role designing enterprise-scale software solutions.
You will be responsible for understanding, designing and helping architect multiple complex systems and conceiving a solution. The role entails lots of code investigation, researching what can be done, working with various Dev teams, and some coding too (about 20%, e.g. proof of concepts).
You will be the go-to person for around 15 C# .NET Software Developers as you will have experienced the same issues / problems they are facing at some point in your career. Mentoring these Developers will also be part of your role. You'll QA their code and be responsible for governance and coding standards.
The Developers are developing complex business logic and back end systems in WPF and WinForms, with your strong C# and SQL engineering talents coming to the fore.
You will be comfortable with the design and development of complex, distributed, multi-tier applications. You'll work in a Test-Driven Development environment and following Continuous Integration practice.

Salary package is up to £65k including a lucrative benefits scheme.
