Process Improvement

 Observing and analysing the existing process.

 Investigating machine output and identifying bottlenecks.

 Translating the findings into recommendations for machine improvements, or adjustments in operating instructions.

 Liaising with suppliers of equipment and spare parts, to ensure or improve the machine performance.

 Setting up and participating in improvement projects aimed at optimising the machine output.

 Contributing to the implementation of process and tool optimisations.

Maintenance

 Developing and optimising preventive maintenance plans for the machine.

 Recommending measures to maintain or improve machine condition and productivity.

 Discussing structural problems with the maintenance department and drafting action plans.

 Providing technical support in case of technical issues and analysing complex technical malfunctions.

 Drafting machine conversion plans as a guideline for the Setters and Operators.

Training

 Sharing expertise and extensive machine knowledge.

 Assessing competencies/skills and identifying training needs of assigned Operators and Setters.

 Translating training needs into training content, organizing trainings and give instruction methods.

 Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.

 Developing, adjusting and implementing training plans for Operators and Setters.

Safety

 Wearing and using the prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the designated areas.

 Complying with all regulations, rules, procedures and policies in the field of health & safety, environment and food safety.

Communication

 Sharing recommendations for machine improvements or adjustments, in operating instructions with the Production Manager and Shift Supervisor.

 Sharing preventive maintenance plans and discussing structural problems and action plans with the maintenance department.

 Sharing expertise and extensive machine knowledge with the Operator and Setter.

 Developing and implementing training plans and operating instructions with the Shift Supervisor and Setter.

 Cooperating and supporting suppliers of equipment and spare parts, to ensure or improve the machine performance.

Authorised To

 Observe and analyse the production process and create machine optimisation plans.

 Draft and implement improvement proposals, highlighting the desired improvements.

 Draft and optimise maintenance plans for the machine.

Responsible For

 Developing and optimising machine improvement plans, maintenance plans and training plans for the assigned machine.

 Sharing expertise and extensive machine knowledge.

 Increasing the efficiency and reliability of the assigned machine.

 Ensuring compliance with all regulations, rules, procedures and policies in the field of health & safety, environment and food safety.
