Package Innovation (Core Technologies)/ Material Center database implementation, based in Nijmegen.

Job Summary:

You will need to be based on-site in Nijmegen at least 4 days / week.

The assignment will start with a training on the use of Material Center database and how to process and enter data using mapping templates. Various linear and non-linear material properties that need to be entered are from existing (check)lists or need to be processed from raw data using excel or off-line programming.

A significant part of the assignment will involve verification of the data for accuracy and consistency. You will collaborate closely with material and Finite Element modelling engineers to ensure a smooth workflow from Material data import to export of compatible data into the simulation software tools (Marc-Mentat & Ansys).

Another minor part of the assignment will be to take part documentation and training of the procedure to other users.

Functie-eisen

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Materials engineering, or Software/IT engineering but with an affinity and experience in Materials or Mechanical engineering projects.
  • Proficient in the use of software like excel, MATLAB and experience in computer programming.

Soft skills:

  • Good communication skills,
  • Proficiency in both English and preferably Dutch (Dutch is optional),
  • Good team player,
  • Thorough & accurate
