About the role
This position is part of our client's Business Group Analog & Logic ICs growth plan in EMEA for their key customers and opportunities.
What you will do:
- Work with worldwide customers and our clients regional team to develop new product specifications and business cases for the next generation power and signal chain devices
- Author, review, update and maintain new product customer specifications throughout product development phase
- Contribute in the creation of new product design spec., validation and DFT plans with design architect, validation and test engineer
- Monitor competitive landscape for performance benchmarking relative to competition in growth application and identify areas of differentiation for their products
- Find new applications/opportunities in the power management and signal chain space for existing products and identify/define future products and avoid non-competitive ‘me-too’ approaches
- Actively engage and interact with strategic customers to explore new product business opportunities and develop business cases for new products
- Communicate ideas and specifications to internal and external technical audiences
- Manage contending customer- and project-related priorities
- Some domestic and international travel required

Functie-eisen
Experience Required:
- BSc in Electrical Engineering with 5-7 years of relevant experience in power management design, systems, application and/or validation engineering
- Competent in understanding/making trade-offs of size/cost/performance/schedule in product definition
- Strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal IC’s and their application
- Engage with customers as a technical expert, demonstrate system knowledge and provide system support
- Work closely with the sales and FAE team and the customer(s) throughout the product development process to ensure product development and customer’s engagement remains on track
- Experienced in promoting/marketing ICs and driving design in/wins by providing system solutions
- Produce and maintain system level block diagrams in growth applications to identify key product opportunities for solving customer’s problem
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
