We are looking for a Linux Designer to join our Akkodis IT team, our chosen candidate would work onsite at our client Ministry of Defense location Maasland.

- Designing Linux-based systems and architectures tailored to the needs of the enterprise environment.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Creating and implementing Linux server configurations, including hardware and software components.
- Developing secure and scalable solutions while adhering to best practices in Linux design.
- Selecting appropriate tools and technologies to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Integrating Linux systems with existing infrastructure and applications.
- Ensuring high availability, reliability, and fault tolerance of Linux-based systems.
- Managing and maintaining system configurations, updates, patches, and security protocols.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Linux infrastructure.
- Documenting system designs, configurations, and processes for future reference.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in Linux design.
- Participating in code reviews, collaborating with developers, and providing technical guidance.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of Linux design practices within the organization.
Skills required :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing Linux within an Enterprise environment.
- Demonstrable experience with identity, configuration, and patch management, as well as code management.
- Demonstrable experience with tools such as SuMa, Puppet, VRA, Gitlab.
