Job Summary:
The Display EE team is looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to lead the development and validation of state-of-the art displays across a variety of Apple products. You will work in a reciprocal environment where creativity and innovation are supported and expected. Responsibilities:
Lead electrical characterization / validation from prototype through mass production - Perform failure analysis on electrical, mechanical and optical issues - Design and capture PCB level schematic & layout for prototyping and test platforms - Handle EE project tasks and issues
Experience Requirements
Key Qualifications:
- Hands on lab experience including data acquisition, processing and lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies
- Excellent Electrical Engineering background - Experience in mixed signal EE design at either IC or PCB level
- Experience in consumer electronics level mass production
- Ability to participate in multi-functional discussions and reviews and become a valued contributor as a partner in the overall system design and validation
- Ability to communicate and present technology updates and project status to executives and cross-functional teams
Experience in three or more of the following:
- Power, analog and digital circuit analysis
- Complex PCB design failure analysis
- Scripting or test automation experience with simulation tools such as Matlab, Python, Objective C and Cadence
- PCB SMT manufacturing process
- Consumer electronics final assembly manufacturing process
- Liquid crystal, OLED and other modern display technologies 7. Quick-Turn prototyping
Education Requirements
- MS or BS with 5+ years of EE design experience
