IAM Project Manager

We are currently partnering with one of the nation's top distributing companies on hiring a Senior Project Manager. This is a remote, long-term contract role, working specifically with Identify Access Management (IAM).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Required Experience

· 7+ years in Project Management

· Knowledge and exposure in the following IAM areas:

  • Web access management
  • Web Single Sign-on/Enterprise Single Sign-on (ESSO)
  • Access governance
  • Privileged user identity management
  • Role and entitlements management
  • Directory Services, Meta-Directory / Virtual Directory
  • User Provisioning
  • Mobile Application Security
  • SOA Security
  • MFA (3/4 key)
  • OKTA
  • Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Update project management systems (ServiceNow, Tempus, Box sites)
  • Ensure timely problem resolution and escalation
  • Maintain ongoing project communications with all project stakeholders, incl. Program Manager
  • Keep a “sense of urgency” and leadership throughout the life of the project to ensure on-time delivery
