Akkodis is recruiting for a BMS HW Design Release Engineer for a large automotive manufacturer in Auburn Hills, MI. This is a contract position with a Pay Rate of $36 an hour. The Battery Management System (BMS) Design Release Engineer for high voltage battery hardware and integration is responsible for the end to end management of the BMS electrical design and production release of the battery pack assembly BMS printed circuit boards (PCB) Cell Supervisory Circuits (CSC) and related activities relative to electrical architecture, wiring, PCB's and busbars. This person will work closely with the Battery Pack Electrical Technical Specialist.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field
Minimum 3 years in product engineering electrical design, development and/or testing
Ability to analyze circuits, busbars, wiring, logic diagrams, and other related items to the high voltage battery pack assembly as it relates to BMS component hardware
Assist development of technical specifications and engineering designs for the BMS and CSC assemblies including:
PCB including battery management systems, cell supervisory circuits, etc.
