BMS Software Release Engineer Hybrid onsite Auburn Hills, MI We are looking for a Battery Management System (BMS) Design Release Engineer (DRE) on the software side. You will handle a wide range of responsibilities, providing multiple touches throughout the Battery life cycle carrying product from initial phases all the way to production. Top Skills • Strong generalist with competency from initial phases to production • Design Release Engineering (DRE) / Electrical Engineering (EE) background with Battery Management System (BMS) experience • Ability to work cross functionally and technically • 3 - 5 years of experience Responsibilities • Develop program High Voltage Battery Systems (HVES) concepts that satisfy battery pack and vehicle level functional objectives down to the battery module design level • Coordinate T HVBS module packaging activities with advanced concept engineering team and battery pack design team • Interface with cross functional team to design and develop functional solutions that achieve design requirements & to ensure proper design interfaces with other components, and all requirements are met. Nice to Have / Not Mandatory • Experience with software development, diagnostics, and data analysis tools (nice to have) • Familiar with system development process based on ASPICE or CMMI model (Nice to have)re>
