Modis is searching for a Warranty Parts Specialist for a position with a motor vehicle manufacturer located in Auburn Hills, MI. This role oversees the procurement of all Warranty parts-and charge-back of claims related to parts requested by the Warranty Parts Return Center, and ensures that claim charge-backs are accepted and implemented when the claim is paid
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for all of the tasks associated with review and payment of warranty claims, which includes parts replacement and a technical analysis to ensure compliance with the established Warranty Policies & Procedures in effect at the time of repair.
This role oversees the procurement of all Warranty parts-and charge-back of claims related to parts requested by the Warranty Parts Return Center, and ensures that claim charge-backs are accepted and implemented when the claim is paid
Handling all logistical processes involved with receipt, handling, processing, storing, analysis, and disposal of all Warranty parts.
The role provides direction and support to Dealers, field staff, and corporate employees via phone and email support to ensure that warranty data is correctly submitted, reviewed, and paid in a timely manner.
It also provides clarification on Warranty coverage, eligibility, and policy by providing instructions on where to obtain needed information for proper claim coding and processing.
The function ensures that SAGA is up-to-date to handle a smooth and accurate claim process to avoid unnecessary rejections and also review claims that fail SAGA edits.
Qualifications
Experience in body shop, repair facility background, experience with warranty, RCM
Great communication
Ability to maintain helpful and friendly attitude, some calls won’t be so positive and will need someone to work through that and still help
